ABOUT MONTEREY COUNTY SOCCER
Our
Story
Monterey County Soccer Club was founded in March 2013 in Salinas, California by public demand to form an organization with top grass and turf fields, licensed Referees, and affordable fees to play Soccer year-round. Since 2013, our Club has played against Professional Soccer Teams in preparation for our players to compete at a higher competitive level. Our Club is affiliated and sanctioned creating opportunities for players to be sought by Professional teams and College Scouts. MCSC's core objective is to teach and train our youth soccer players, develop leadership qualities, and promote good sportsmanship among players, coaches, officials, parents, and spectators. MCSC will provide our youth with the opportunity to participate in a soccer experience where they can develop positive self-esteem and build character by learning the virtues of hard work, fair play, respect, honesty, self-control, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
